Republican Role in Legislature

“Score Card Shows County Did Well in Bill Passage” was the headline in the Orange County Edition of The Times on Oct.5.
Even begrudgingly, The Times must acknowledge the outstanding leadership and representation of the Orange County Republican delegation to the state Legislature. Our Republican members of the state Senate and Assembly do a marvelous job in representing the interests and conservative political philosophy of the people of Orange County.
As part of the great team headed by Gov. George Deukmejian, the distinguished and dedicated Republican members of the legislative delegation from our community know the needs and carry the banner of Orange County residents.
Much of the success of the Deukmejian Administration comes from the support the governor gets from this Republican stronghold. And, in turn, the people of Orange County are well served by the accomplishments of our legislative team working with the governor.
The future of Orange County is bright with conservative Republican elected officials at the helm.
