Watson and Haney Win Harbor Heritage 5K Run

Tim Watson beat a field of 1,500 runners to win the Harbor Heritage 5-kilometer run in 14 minutes 10 seconds Saturday at Newport Harbor High School. Joey Gomez was second in 14:13, and Jon Koningh was third in 14:14.
Diane Haney finished in 17:06 to win the women’s division, ahead of Annette Cooper (17:38) and Harolene Walters (17:43).
