Bakker’s Father Collapses, Is Rushed to Hospital

PINEVILLE, N.C. — Raleigh Bakker, 81-year-old father of PTL ministry founder Jim Bakker, was rushed to the hospital Sunday after collapsing in his home.
The elderly Bakker was suffering from severe hemorrhaging and was put in intensive care while doctors tried to determine what was causing the bleeding, said a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Bakker.
