The Independent Insurance Agents of America, New York, elected the following at the trade group’s recent convention: Thomas J. Baker Jr. of Houston was named president; Lawrence E. Hite of Ona, W. Va., is the president-elect and chairman of the executive committee; Southgate Jones Jr. of Durham, N.C., senior vice president, and A. William Bailey Jr. of Waco, Tex., vice president.
