A dog that once appeared in a rock video will be put to death for attacking two children. The dog, Tennessee Jed, once appeared in a Grateful Dead video carrying a human thigh bone. It was ordered destroyed by Chico Municipal Judge Ann Rutherford for the attack last summer. The pit bull-Australian shepherd and its owners, James Jarbo and Carolyn Partlow of Chico, were in court when the sentence was read. The owners have 30 days to appeal.
