Actor Simon Ward, 45, best known for his starring role in the Richard Attenborough film “Young Winston,” has returned home from a hospital and says he can’t recall how he suffered a fractured skull. He was found unconscious by his wife, Alexandra, in their living room last week and underwent surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain. Ward said this week that he believes he was attacked Oct. 1 in or around his North London home. Scotland Yard said it is trying to determine how Ward was injured.
