The Telemundo Group Inc., a Spanish-language TV network that includes KVEA in Los Angeles and stations in Puerto Rico, New York, Miami and the San Francisco-San Jose markets, has hired Market Opinion Research Co. to conduct what it says is one of the most comprehensive studies yet of the Latino market. The $250,000 study will examine Latino attitudes toward television, advertising, language preference and buying habits through 1,200 viewer interviews. New York-based Reliance Capital Group is the majority owner of publicly traded Telemundo.
