WEST BERLIN — A bomb exploded Wednesday at the house of a West Berlin police official, and police said they suspect militant anti-nuclear protesters.
Nobody was injured in the blast.
The policeman, special unit leader Martin Textor, was able to put out the fire himself.
Leaflets attacking the presence of West Berlin police units at an anti-nuclear demonstration in the West German state of Bavaria were found in Textor’s garden, the spokesman said.
