ORANGE COUNTY PREP FOOTBALL : Angelus League : Mater Dei Gains 41-0 Victory

Robert Clifford rushed for 153 yards in 18 carries and scored 3 touchdowns to lead Mater Dei High School to a 41-0 Angeles League victory over Bishop Montgomery Friday night at Torrance.
Clifford, a sophomore running back, had touchdown runs of 1, 2, and 80 yards for Mater Dei (5-1, 1-0) and junior Rodger Merritt scored two touchdowns on runs of 8 and 1 yards.
Quarterback Mark Ramstack added a touchdown for the Monarchs on a two-yard run in the third quarter.
