Catcher Mike Scioscia of the Dodgers underwent arthroscopic surgery at Centinela Hospital Medical Center to have torn cartilage removed from his right knee. Dr. Frank Jobe, who performed the surgery, will operate next Tuesday on pitcher Ken Howell’s right shoulder.
