Pacific Lighting’s income rose 19% to $64.3 million for the third quarter. The Los Angeles-based parent of Southern California Gas credited sharply higher income from its oil and gas operations, up 433% to $7.78 million for the quarter. Utility earnings were down 3% to $42.2 million, while the company’s retailing operations reported a 12% increase to $8.77 million. Total revenue was up 16.8% to $465.5 million.
