Vince Dooley, University of Georgia football coach and athletic director, left Emory University Hospital in Atlanta two days after undergoing a successful procedure to clear two blocked arteries near his heart.
“I’ve never felt better,” Dooley said. “I really feel better than I’ve felt in a long time.”
Dooley, 55, had a stress test in the morning before being released by Dr. John Douglas, the physician who performed the 1 1/2-hour operation Tuesday. Dooley attended his team’s afternoon practice.
