Won’t Preserve Legend

Sam Hall Kaplan’s column (Aug. 30) on the controversies surrounding Frank Lloyd Wright was a great boost to me personally. I am one of the youngest and newest members of the Taliesin Associated Architects, having worked and learned here for the last nine years.
I am completely free from any desire to perpetuate a life style, preserve a legend, protect a legacy, etc. I have found a situation where I may pursue my life as I see fit. In an atmosphere of freedom wherein I take responsibility for all things concerning myself, in the inspiring presence of vitally creative people. I am a proud participant in a great American idea.
