The government is spending $6,000 a day to house a suspected Lebanese Shia terrorist charged with participating in the 1985 hijacking of a Jordanian airliner, court papers said. The Justice Department said Fawaz Younis was under “extremely heavy security” at an undisclosed facility where he has “excellent medical care, a special diet and freedom to practice his religious exercises.” Younis was arrested last month by FBI agents who lured him onto a yacht in the Mediterranean with the prospect of spending a weekend of drug use with beautiful women.
