Funeral Mass Set for Detective Ector Garcia

A funeral Mass for retired Los Angeles Police Detective Ector Garcia is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday at the Church of the Resurrection in East Los Angeles. Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park near Whittier.
Garcia, 62, who died Thursday after a brief illness, was well known for his composite drawings of criminal suspects.
