Drug Arrest for Judy Carne

HORSHAM, England — British actress Judy Carne, charged with possessing cocaine on arrival at London’s Gatwick Airport, was released on bail today pending a court hearing.
According to the prosecution, the 48-year-old comedienne carried 185 milligrams of cocaine, worth about $25, when she arrived at Gatwick Airport from New York last week to visit her family. The former wife of actor Burt Reynolds is best known for her appearances in the 1960s television comedy series “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-in.”
