Fujitsu’s earnings jumped 116.7% to $628.36 million (8.86 billion yen) for the six months ended Sept. 30. The Tokyo-based company, Japan’s largest computer maker and a producer of semiconductors, said the improvement was fueled by an increased in semiconductor orders from domestic clients. Overseas sales continued to be hurt by the strong yen. Revenue was up 13% to $5.52 billion (777.9 billion yen).
