The Skate Canada competition this weekend will provide a head-to-head battle between the world’s top two male figure skaters and a glimpse of the routines they will be performing in the 1988 Olympic Winter Games.
Reigning world champion Brian Orser of Canada and 1986 champion Brian Boitano of Sunnyvale, Calif., head the field of 62 skaters from 19 countries who will test the ice at Calgary’s new 19,000-seat Olympic Saddledome, starting today.
