Milton McCrory got up from a fourth-round knockdown and retained the North American Boxing Federation super-welterweight title with a one-sided 12-round decision over Herman Cavesuela at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.

McCrory, 154, of Detroit, took control of the fight in the sixth round and knocked down Cavesuela with a right-left to the head for an 8-count.

Two judges each favored McCrory by eight points and another by six. It was the 32nd victory against two losses and a draw for the former WBC welterweight champion.

Cavesuela, 152 of Watsonville, Calif., could barely see out of his right eye, and his left eye was badly swollen at the end of the fight, which was his third loss against 20 victories.

An upset occurred in a scheduled 12-round fight for the vacant NABF lightweight title when Primo Ramos, 135, of Durango, Mexico, scored a second-round knockout over Frankie Randall, 135, of Morristown, Tenn., who is ranked No. 1 in the world by the World Boxing Council.
