Jessica Has 5th Surgery; Skin Grafts on Foot Next

MIDLAND, Tex. — Jessica McClure, one day after meeting the press and Winnie the Pooh, underwent a fifth surgery today that her doctors said went well enough to allow them to prepare for skin grafts on her right foot.
The 19-month-old, who was rescued two weeks ago after 58 hours trapped in an abandoned water well, has undergone surgery five times to try to save her right foot, which lost circulation while she was trapped.
