Southern Section Water Polo Playoffs : Dunn and Deboer Lead Brea to Overtime Victory, 11-10

Erin Dunn had a goal in overtime to break a 10-10 tie and lift Brea-Olinda High School to an 11-10 victory over Don Lugo Wednesday in a 2-A Southern Section first-round water polo match at Brea.
Senior Scott Deboer had a game-high five goals for Brea (19-6).
In other 2-A playoff matches:
La Serna 24, Bolsa Grande 8--Andy Ellis had six goals and Ron Vega and Joe Risse four each as La Serna (10-0) opened a 9-1 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Kennedy 19, Magnolia 10--Paul Grove had six goals and Dan Barnes five for host Kennedy (19-4).
Costa Mesa 20, Chadwick 4--Costa Mesa, the defending 2-A champion, had an easy victory at home. Costa Mesa is 20-6 and Chadwick ends 7-7.
Miraleste 22, Trabuco Hills 9--Trabuco Hills (9-10), the third-place team out of the Pacific Coast League, lost at Miraleste (23-3), the winner of the Pioneer League.
Claremont 19, La Quinta 7--Matt Martin had a game-high six goals for Claremont (16-3), which won at home. La Quinta ends 15-8.
