Controversial Austrian Film Will Be Shown

Film Forum will present the 1976 Austrian film “Invisible Adversaries” by Valie Export at 8 tonight at Wallenboyd Theatre, 301 Boyd St.
The work was funded by the Austrian government, but a Film Forum spokesman noted that a scandal resulted when authorities were shocked by its feminist standpoint, visceral sexual imagery and criticism of Viennese society.
