BEIRUT — Lebanese Muslim guerrillas said they attacked a dozen Israeli and South Lebanon Army posts in southern Lebanon on Sunday, killing or wounding several Israeli and SLA soldiers.
Voice of Hope radio, which is owned by the Israeli-backed SLA, reported the attack but mentioned no casualties except for two SLA members wounded in an ambush.
A statement from the guerrillas said the raids marked the birthday of the prophet Mohammed.
There was no immediate comment on the report from Israeli officials.
