Ground, Air Crews Hunt for Missing Light Plane

ST. GEORGE, Utah — Ground and air crews searched Sunday for a light plane carrying three people that was last heard from Friday night over rugged southern Utah mountains on a flight from Arizona to Idaho, authorities said.
After the Cessna 172 had taken off from Prescott, Ariz., radar and radio contact was broken about 9 p.m. in the vicinity of Zion National Park, about 310 miles south of Salt Lake City, they said.
