Jacobs Engineering Group’s income jumped 313% to $3.5 million for the year ended Sept. 30. The Pasadena company credited the improvement to increased revenue and a greater volume of construction projects. In addition, in the fourth quarter the company recorded a $500,000 gain from the settlement of litigation.
