Western Christian 3, Village Christian 0--Jason Jones missed a potential game-tying 23-yard field goal with 2:24 left as Village Christian lost a share of the Alpha League title at Kennedy High.
With the win, Western Christian (6-4, 4-1) shares the league title with Montclair Prep.
Village Christian (5-5, 3-2) finished third in the league and may get an at-large spot in the playoffs.
Western Christian capped an 18-play first half drive with a 22-yard field goal by Jerry Macenas with 1:27 left in the first quarter for the game’s only score.
