Initiative Study OKd: The Board of Supervisors Tuesday unanimously agreed to pay $10,000 to the Chapman College Center for Economic Research to analyze the economic impact of passage of a slow-growth initiative proposed for next year’s ballot. Backers of the initiative are now collecting signatures to put it on the ballot next year. They say they want it to cover unincorporated county territory and cities within the county. The initiative would stop major developments that would make traffic conditions worse than they are now.
