Italian baritone Piero Cappuccilli made a last-minute cancellation of his recital, scheduled for Ambassador Auditorium Wednesday evening, citing laryngitis. According to an Ambassador spokesman, Cappuccilli remained in San Francisco, where he had recently sung the title role in Verdi’s “Nabucco” with the San Francisco Opera.
