Kirk Douglas will join the ranks of Pope John Paul II, Prince Philip of Great Britain and Leonard Bernstein when he is receives the Golden Camera award in February. The award is presented each year by Horzu, Europe’s largest weekly magazine. Douglas is being honored for his contributions to the arts. Other honors bestowed on the patriarch of the acting-producing clan: the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Commander in the Order of Arts and Letters, the Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur and the Citizen of the World Award.
