Local News in Brief : AIDS Foundation Gets Mental Health Grant

The AIDS Services Foundation of Orange County has received a $50,000 state grant to provide mental health services.
The grant is for emergency intervention counseling, minority outreach, in-home and in-hospital outreach programs, a respite care program and a support program for mental health professionals who are working with AIDS.
Those eligible for grant-funded services include people with AIDS or AIDS-related complex, those who have tested positive for the AIDS virus and family members.
The grant was awarded by the state Department of Mental Health.
