MOSCOW — The Soviet national carrier Aeroflot, notorious for its chronic and lengthy flight delays, will begin compensating passengers next month for their lost time, Tass said Friday.
Starting Feb. 1, ticket holders who wait from two to four hours for a flight “through the fault of Aeroflot personnel” will be reimbursed 10% of the cost of their ticket, the Soviet news agency said.
If a plane is delayed from four to six hours, a 15% rebate will be paid.
