Roy Dennis, 82, who was either coach or athletic director at Occidental College from 1934-70, died in Laguna Hills.
Among the athletes Dennis coached were presidential hopeful Rep. Jack Kemp (R-N.Y.), Coach Jim Mora of the New Orleans Saints and diver Sammy Lee.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday at Glendale Forest Lawn Church of the Recession. The family asks that donations be made to the Roy Dennis Fund in care of the Occidental College Athletic Department.
