Soviets Will Protect Dinosaur Footprints

MOSCOW — The footprints of dinosaurs that once stalked what is now the Soviet Central Asian republic of Turkmenistan have been given state protection, Tass press agency reported on Friday.
Tass said the area containing the nearly 500 well-preserved dinosaur footprints has been added to the state-protected Kugitang nature reserve.
