Unbeaten North Hollywood middleweight Michael Nunn (28-0 with 18 knockouts) will defend his North American Boxing Federation title against Doug De Witt (29-5-3 with 16 knockouts) March 19 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
In another boxing development, Dio Colome, who was scheduled to fight Felipe Canela in the Stroh’s welterweight tournament tonight at the Forum, suffered a bruised wrist while training, and the fight was postponed until Feb. 8. Tonight’s program will include super-bantamweights Mario Gomez and Alberto Mercado, and super-middleweights Ricky Locke and Willie Wilson.
