Local Architects Win Recognition

Five Southern California architectural firms have won honors in the Society of American Registered Architects awards program.
Gilbert Aja Associates, Irvine, won an award of excellence for its design of Santa Fe Lots 3 & 4, a four-building complex in east Anaheim and an award of merit for interior design of Two Corporate Park, Irvine. Rothenberg Sawasy Architects, Los Angeles, also won an award of merit for renovation of a Santa Monica commercial center.
Other design winners included the Nadel Partnership Inc., Los Angeles, for Griffin Towers; Leason Pomeroy Associates, Orange, for Park Plaza Retirement Residence and Architects Pacifica, Newport Beach, for Crystal Court Mall.
