THE PREPS : Girls’ Basketball Roundup : Los Amigos Rallies for 46-42 Win

Amy Pearson and May Ly each scored 11 points to rally Los Amigos High School to a 46-42 victory over Bolsa Grande Wednesday night in a Garden Grove League girls’ basketball game at Los Amigos.
Trailing at halftime, 24-23, the Lobos (2-10 overall, 2-4 in league) outscored the Matadors, 16-10, in the third quarter.
Jennifer Tracey had 18 points for Bolsa Grande (7-7, 3-3).
In other Garden Grove League games:
La Quinta 97, Pacifica 18--Patti Leuta scored 29 points and Donna Gondringer 20 for the visiting Aztecs (13-3, 6-0), ranked fourth in the latest Orange County poll and first in the Southern Section 2-A.
Kennedy 60, Rancho Alamitos 55--Lara Cummins scored 19 points and Michelle Harris 18 to lead the host Fighting Irish (4-2, 5-6). Christy Kalbhan scored 29 points for the Vaqueros (3-3, 5-7).
