Winter Sports : Glantz’s 2nd Goal Leads CSUN Past UCLA in Club Hockey, 4-3

Cal State Northridge’s club hockey team skates in relative anonymity, but that has not stopped the Matadors from compiling a healthy record this season.
Rob Glantz scored two goals, including the game-winner with 1:18 left in the second period, to lead CSUN to a 4-3 victory over UCLA on Friday in a Southern California Collegiate Hockey Assn. victory in Culver City.
Scott Humphreys and Frank Lucero also scored for CSUN (7-3-2).
BOYS’ SOCCER
Agoura 5, Nordhoff 0--Junior forward Nelson Townes scored two goals to lead the Chargers (11-2-2, 2-2 in Frontier League play).
Harvard 1, La Salle 1--Bernard Lilavois scored with one minute left to offset a first-half goal by Harvard’s Marty Holly in the Santa Fe League match.
L.A. Baptist 4, Maranatha 3--Keith Johnson scored two goals, including the game-winner with 15 minutes left in the Alpha League game. Shane Wight and Dan Stepper added goals for the Knights (6-8-3, 3-1-1).
