An unidentified woman crossing Interstate 805 on foot early Tuesday was killed after being struck by several cars that kept going, authorities said.
The woman, described by the San Diego County coroner’s office as between 18 and 25 years old, tried to cross the northbound lanes of the freeway south of Palomar Street in Chula Vista, the California Highway Patrol said.
