Eastern Canada Hit by Moderate Quake

OTTAWA — A moderate earthquake struck Canada’s Atlantic province of New Brunswick on Thursday, authorities said. No damage or injuries were reported.
The tremor registered 3.9 on the Richter scale, the Geological Survey of Canada reported. The tremor was centered about 30 miles north of Bathurst and 12 miles southwest of Bonaventure, Quebec.
