Evangelist Plans for TV Exposure

Rollen Stewart is the itinerant evangelist who holds up the “John 3:16” banner behind goal posts at football games, always garnering himself instant national television exposure with every field goal and extra point.

There will be no banners allowed at the stadium today, but Stewart is still planning to proselytize.

He’s stenciled “John 3:16” on his T-shirt and will stalk mini-cam units in the stands. Holding a Sony Watchman portable TV to cue him to the right moment, he hopes to jump into view at just the right times, he said.
