A San Bernardino County man was burned over 20% of his body Sunday night when his trailer exploded in an Anaheim trailer park, Anaheim fire officials reported.
Hugh Rankin, about 50, of Hesperia was listed in stable condition at UCI Medical Center after the 8:45 p.m. explosion at 333 Ball Road.
Fire Capt. Randy Sarver said Rankin told fire officials he had just moved into the park after driving from Hesperia when an explosion in the trailer started a small fire.
The cause of the blast is under investigation.
