Open Border Gates

U.S. Customs has proven that where there’s a will there’s a way to alleviate the inexcusable delays at the border crossing into San Ysidro from Tijuana. What a sad commentary on our priorities that it takes a Super Bowl game to open the number of gates necessary for the promotion of commercial and business exchange across the border.
Those of us who cross regularly (and experience delays of up to two hours) deserve the same treatment afforded our Super Bowl visitors.
