An official autopsy report, released Wednesday in Jersey City, N.J., confirmed news reports that American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Patrick Bissell died from a drug overdose. Hudson County Prosecutor Paul M. DePascale said Wednesday that investigators found “significant quantities of dangerous substances” in Bissell’s body, including methadone, cocaine, codeine and other painkillers. DePascale said the case was being closed because it was unlikely investigators could trace the source of the drugs. Bissell, 30, was found dead Dec. 29 in his apartment in Hoboken, across the Hudson River from Manhattan.
