Stephen C. Roney has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker Relocation Management Services, Laguna Hills. He succeeds Chandler Barton, who retains the positions of chairman and chief executive officer. Roney, who came to Coldwell Banker in 1985, had been executive vice president of the Laguna Hills firm before his promotion. Previously, he was vice president of Transamerica Relocation Service, which he joined in 1971. Succeeding Roney as executive vice president is Leonard P. Troutner, who joined Coldwell Banker Relocation Management Services as senior vice president in 1985. Before that, Troutner was vice president, operations, at Transamerica.
