A Los Angeles man was arrested early Friday on suspicion of murder in the shooting of a 34-year-old man in a Pacoima bar, police said.
Ralph Guillen was shot in the chest about 12:10 a.m. inside Ramos Bar in the 11600 block of Glenoaks Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Lt. Robert Stemples said. Guillen was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, where he died a few hours later, Stemples said.
Following tips from witnesses at the bar, detectives arrested Fernando Roman Osorio, 32, at his home about 6 a.m., the lieutenant said.
Witnesses said they had seen Osorio argue with a woman in the bar, then leave in a late-model, orange Chevrolet van. Detectives refused to say if Guillen also was involved in the dispute or to release his address.
Osorio is being held without bail at Foothill Division Jail.
