Fred Kayne has been named president and chief executive of Far West Financial Corp., Newport Beach. Kayne, 49, replaces William Belzberg, who remains as chairman of the company and its primary subsidiary, Far West Savings & Loan.
Kayne, who has been a corporate director since May, previously was a director of Bear, Stearns & Co. and managing director of the New York investment firm’s Los Angeles office.
