Debris Believed From AF Jet Is Found; Pilot Missing

TAMPA, Fla. — Coast Guard searchers on Wednesday found debris they suspected was from an Air Force F-16 jet that crashed into the Gulf of Mexico during a training mission, but there was no sign of the pilot, officials said. The unidentified pilot was flying solo 40 miles west of Ft. Myers when the jet went down Tuesday night.
