Molly Bear Had to Go but Was It Tasteful?

STOCKHOLM — Officials at a city zoo killed and ate a popular bear cub because they didn’t have room for it in the park, a newspaper reported today.
The cub, Molly, was 2 years old and one of the visitors’ favorites at the Skansen Park Zoo when the lack of space forced the zoo to cull the cubs, Expressen said. The bear was served to the zoo’s staff. “Molly was so nice, I didn’t take a bite,” caretaker Tina Reinhed told the newspaper.
