Circus Circus Enterprises said it acquired options to purchase one of the largest parcels of land remaining on the Las Vegas Strip and may build a major hotel-casino there. The options cover 117 acres of land at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. A company spokesman said it plans “to build a major hotel and casino on the land if it proves suitable for development.” Cost of the land was not disclosed.
