Single Parents

On occasion in articles The Times uses the term “broken homes.” Your inference is that this is a negative experience. I believe your prejudice is showing toward what I prefer to be called “single-parent families.”
My four children come from what you unfortunately call “broken homes.” Three are college graduates.
This is not an isolated occurrence among the single people of my knowledge.
Please do not use the derogatory expression “broken homes.” It is prejudicial and has no valid meaning.
